Hope for Latino students!

Latino students are currently failing in our educational system!

         (as are other multicultural and un-motivated white students.)

High School Dropout Rate:        Whites—10%                    Latinos—45% to 55%

University Graduation Rate:      Whites—34% to 38%      Latinos—10% to 13%

This will lead to dire consequences for the economy of the USA in this technological age !

Especially since it is estimated that by 2050 that 50% of students in our elementary and secondary schools will be Latino !

According to recent research the 2 primary causes of the failure of Latino students are:

1) Lack of Personal Motivation (Low self-esteem & low self-expectation),

2) Lack of money to pay for college.

The Self-Discovery Class, Diversity-Discovery Class, or Latino-Discovery Class

By whichever name this class is called, it will address these causes and help to mitigate the consequences.
